About Me

I'm currently working at Amazon as Cloud Support Engineer for the Containers team where I assist Business and Enterprise customers with technical issues and troubleshooting their problems they're facing through emails, phone and live chats. The services I work with in the Containers team includes EKS, ECS, Fargate, X-Ray, ECR, Batch etc.

I studied Computer Science at NCI and obtained an upper 2.1 BSc (Honours) grade. My background is in software development, but I love technology in general and always want to learn new things in I.T and experiment in them, such as building a home server, learning new skills or anything new that arises that interests me etc.

I have various hobbies, interests and passions, I really enjoy creating things either in software development, art, music or video editing. I enjoy travelling and seeing new places and cultures I haven't experienced yet.

Currently I'm studying Japanese as a secondary language and aiming to obtain an N1 level on the JLPT

Amazon (Cloud Support Engineer) - Containers:

I support, troubleshoot and provide information to various customers including services like EKS, ECS, and Fargate

Cylynt (Dev Ops) Intern:

During my internship, I developed automation scripts, working with AWS and contributed to the frontend using Oracle Apex

Netflix (Road Crew)

I worked on two Netflix series (Vikings: Valhalla S1 & Fate Winx S2) coordinating vechicles to and from various areas of the film set

Volunteering:

Yotsuba

I organise a weekly Japanese-English language exchange meetup at Starbucks every Sunday called Yotsuba for 3+ years now

Experience Japan

I volunteered at the annual Experience Japan event in 2022 and 2023

Dublin Comic-Con

I volunteered at the 2024 Comic-Con and helped caring for prop sets, helped customers take photos around the props and then coordinated queues for stalls

    Spontaneous

    Currently on hiatus - Spontaneous is an iOS appliction that lets you find something random and spontaneous to do in your local area such as finding a new cafe you haven't been before, cinema, spa, zoo etc and it'll decide for you and give you directions
